This web site is devoted to my butterfly pictures. All of my pictures are video capture taken with a SONY TRV310 Digital8 Camcorder and captured using Studio DV. All pictures are ©1999,2000,2001,2002,2003 David J. Powell.
This site is organized as a species list (NABA names and order, modified by splits noted in Western Butterflies by Opler). The taxonomy of some groups of butterflies is very contentious, so I am just following the books as best I can.
